A Picture

I follow a pretty cool blog called "Sofia Daily Photo." I was catching up on the photos I've missed these past couple of weeks and, for some reason, this one really got to me. It's not a particularly impressive photo, so I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the image of Sofia on a rainy day, on a street I know, reminding me of stepping in puddles up to my knees and wrestling with a broken umbrella while waiting for a tram on that very street sometime last fall.

It makes me sad (in a good way) and makes me realize how blessed I am to have lived that life and met so many amazing people.

Coming soon: I will stop talking about Bulgaria and development for awhile, since I know much of my readership has been counting down the days until they can return to the world of drive-throughs and Bud Light. Perhaps I will post something about the kick-ass park blocks from my house or my and my roomie's summer plans to have fun without spending money. We shall see.
